NO but thanks for playing! Carol, tell Val what we have for him as a parting gift......
That's right, it's an original tail light bulb from a 1977 AMC Pacer! Come on back and play again soon!

Sooooo, hows it drive?

:D Thats funny right there, I dont care who ya are.

Man, one word, it's on rails. Oh wait, that's three words. Ok, how about awesome? Overused? Yeah. I thought the handling was great before, but the car is sooooo flat now its remarkable. It's just a little stiffer and can feel the bumps a little more but thats a small trade-off for the performance. I couldn't resist some high speed maneuvers last night on I-20. The intake is good, but I think since its breathing better, it also needs to exhale better. Say, do you want to sell that RB exhaust to me today?

Oh, BTW, great work! Thank Clint for me.

For all those in the Atlanta area, look up Charlie and the guys at Mazcare for your RX-8 needs. They are the most professional bunch you'll ever do business with.

Have we decided where we are going to meet for this. Ideas have been thrown out over in the GA Club thread, but no decisions.

^^Ha, my grandfather had one just like that, except that it was light blue. The back window blew out one hot Kansas day. He had left an old can of spray paint in the back.

It's the Garthmobile!!!! Party on Wayne! OK boys (and girls?) what do ya'll think about Cracker Barrel at Delk and 75? It's central and a short trip to Dynolab via Franklin Road.

Thanks for the props gang. I told Val yesterday that the 8 has really brought excitement back to us. It is such a nice car to work on and really is gratifying as it is modded out. It is truly hard to improve on a great platform but we sure seem to be getting their with our cars.

Al Czervik: Hey, doll. Could you scare up another round for our table over here? And tell the cook this is low grade dogfood. I've had better food at the ballgame, you know? This steak still has marks from where the jockey was hitting it.
Cracker Barrel is certainly better grub AND they will have tables we can put together.

Love that movie, I may have to go watch it tongiht now.

And I vote for the Cracker Barrel too, they have better food.

One more vote for Charlie and Mazcare. It is good to have guys like him in the forum, and in the neighborhood.

Cracker Barrel is fine for me as well. Plus the parking lot seems to be safer/bigger at that location than the Waffle Houses across the street.

Yes, it was a lot of fun, disappointing for some of us, but we will get there. I think I am still a little high from the fumes, I know I cooked a few brain cells. Now it is on to autocross time. :D

I ended up dynoing afterall.
I got 190.6 whp with 135.6 tq. which was the highest except for Charlie. He had around 206 whp with about 145 tq (i don't remember how much exactly but he just smoked everyone.) I think he secretly installed a Motec or something. Everyone else was in the 180s IIRCC. The cars just wailed on the dyno. It was a cool expereince.

They did scream. I am due for new plugs and the "n & P" flash, and plan on going again after that, just to see if it really makes a difference. Charlie felt like it would. Only Nabil and Charlie had smooth charts for lack of a better term. The rest of us experienced big drops at between 7k and 7500.

But it was fun. uacolon and Nabil both have a lot on video, I would like to see it one of these days.
