Doctor Detail & Liquid Glass?

On a family visit to Chicago this holiday my brother had gotten me two gift certificates to Doctor Detail here in Orlando. The gift certificates are for a full detail and wax. It indicates that Liquid Glass be used as the wax. I don't usually take my car to detail shops and have never used Liquid Glass wax. Has anyone here gone to Doctor Detail(corner of Mills and Michigan)? Has anyone ever used Liquid Glass? Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My partner used Liquid Glass on his black Infiniti FX -- it looks great, even after 8 months. I think the product is similar to Zaino.

That depends on which side of the fence you are on..synthetic or natural. Its a great synthetic wax... I used it for a long time. But I have switched to natural waxes as I think they last longer and are better for older paints. There are lots of pros and cons between synthetic and natural. Zainos is probably the best synthetic and they have a big discussion on why synthetic is better on their web suite. Makes sense but I dont agree with them from personal experience

Cant really comment on Doctor detail other than to say its a chain and like all chains some are good and some are bad.

I have an appointment next week. They told my brother that they have been in business for about 20 years and have never had any unsatisfied customers. I'll let you know how it goes.

My opinion with detailers is that it is best to go with the product they are familiar with. They will do the best job with the stuff they know how to use. Im sure it will look great! post the before and after pics...or better yet 1/2 the hood done and 1/2 the hood not done :bigthumb:
