I was in Athens last weekend for a UGA football game and twice ran across this nice black 8. If you're the driver, shoot me a PM--didn't mean to blow you off when we passed each other!!

Are there any other 8 drivers who frequent the Athens area? Maybe we can all meet up one Gameday weekend while we're rooting for the Dawgs.

Whats up. I live in athens and i drive a silver RX-8. I go to every home game but i'll be damned if i am driving my car to one of UGAs football games. Heh yer 6 years older then me but if you want to buy me beer at football games you're more then welcome too.

 

Is that a trick statement? You can't buy beer at college football games! If you're ever downtown, though, find me at the Winery and I'll buy a round, especially if you happen to know where I can get an extra LSU ticket for next weekend's game...

 

Ha. I wish i could find me one. Good luck. And its not that i can't get beer its that i can't buy it. Believe me. i will be the one guy you see getting arrested for public intoxication and underaged possession. But **** if you are going to buy a round i hope you have a lot of cash because there will probably be atleast 12 people with me on game day.

sup fellas i'm from toccoa but go to school in milledgeville. i'll be comin' back through on oct. 7-10 to go home and participate in the walmart car show for my town to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. it'd be awesome if i could meet up w/ another 8er and perhaps if ya had time you could come to the show, it's nothing major but it's for a good cause. also i'd like to start a little NE GA group to go ride sometime and have little meets and maybe have some track days. hope i dont sound too cheezy but it's a thought. i love my 8 and an greatful for the craftsmanship mazda has put into this wonderful machine. hope to hear from someone.

 

Wannarace: I don't think that sounds cheesy at all. I live in Atlanta, but whenever I'm in the NE GA area, I wouldn't mind getting together. I haven't met any other 8'ers in person yet, so it'd be refreshing to do that. I don't know if I can go all the way to Toccoa, but if you want to meet up in Athens, I'm up for it. There's a 70/30 chance I will be in Athens on Oct. 8-9 for the UGA/TN game. The only potential conflict is a bachelor party in Atlanta that I might be forced to attend (sometimes even bachelor parties take a backseat to the Dawgs). Shoot me a PM next week and I'll let you know what my plans are!

 

Whats up. There is a 100% chance i will be in Athens since i live here and all. Hey mark. I just saw that black RX-8 last night. I was messing with the guy in it and i pissed off his girlfriend. It was dirty as hell!!! I mean wtf! if you are going to buy and 8 you better take care of it. But i have yet to meet anyone else that drives an 8 in person. If you want to come to Athens i am down. **** we could have so much fun. Oh. There is 1 condition though. If your car looks better then mine then you are not allowed to come. Sorry... If your system is louder then mine (i have a diamond in the back on a 800 watt amp) you are not allowed to come, and if your car is faster then mine then i am bringing a black 350Z to smoke your *** in. Thats the rules... Hey give me a PM any time you get a chance. Maybe we can work something out.
