hello my fellow 8ers. i'll be in A-town tomorrow heading to six flags so if you see a blue 8 rollin' by on I-20 with a custom tag from stephens county, that'll be me. so whether you're in your 8 or not gimmie a honk or something so i now if you read this. also if anyone's going to six flags i'll be wearing my rx8club shirt hanging with 3 other ppl. hope everyone has a great weekend.

Wannarace, I'm only 20 minutes from 6 Flags, but unfortunately I won't be heading that way this weekend. I've seen a number of 8's driving around lately, so I'm sure you're bound to run into someone if you drive around long enough. And I always make a point to flash or wave, so if I happen to see you, wave back--I'm the titanium grey with the UGA tag!

No way, I was first! I live in Smyrna, so we're not too far apart from each other. You have clear corners and leather interior, though, so at least I can look out for those things before I think that someone's stealing my car!

Hello, Mtnpass. Judging by the number of posts you have made, it looks like you're new to the forum. Welcome!

Would love to meet up with other members of the 8 family sometime. Be sure to check this Southeast section often. I know several 8'ers and other rotary owners just met here in Atlanta last week for a couple of things. Not sure how frequently you head south from Chattanooga (a great town, by the way), but if I can ever find any down time, I'd really look forward to meeting up with you and everyone else!

I have hung out with Tim and Holly along with others with serx7 club, we used to meet almost every thursday night....I come down to ATL often as have family that currently lives in Decatur and Buckhead. I'll try and keep abreast of gatherings. Would look forward to hanging out and maybe even taking a run up to Helen or Brasstownbald

Holly and the rest of the RX7 bunch are really cool people. I hung out with them last Thursday at American Pie, and on Saturday at Drive-In. We need to have more 8s represent. I'm in the Vinings area and always down for get togethers.

Oh yeah, I drove up to Helen about three weeks ago and saw 4 8s there. I was rather surprised. I saw more in one day up there than I see in a week here in Atlanta.

You're in the Vinings? I live in Smyrna! You're not by any chance that silver 8 I flashed my lights at several weeks ago on Cobb Pkwy, are you? I also don't see many other 8's on the road here, even though I'm just one exit from you.

About the Helen trip, there are quite a few 8's in Athens, so perhaps they were up there for Oktoberfest. I met up with another 8 owner in Athens this past weekend and also saw a blue one Friday night as I was driving around.

We missed you at the Varsity on Thursday night. We needed your 8 to represent. I called you, last minute, to let you know. It was a multi-car meet. There were 8 or so rotaries there, but no RX-8s

Next meet.. I think the guys are getting together up at Commerce, this weekend. I will be out of town, celebrating the ole birthday. So if you are interested in going to the dragstrip, check out the RX7 Club Forum in the SE section.

MarkD - My 8 is blue. I used to make trips up to Athens every weekend while my girl was in school there. I haven't met up with any of the 8 owners in Athens, but I've seen a red one and a titanium silver one a few times.

Holly - I didn't get your message until late Thursday night. I would have loved to have been there. I was out of town last weekend and will also be out of town this weekend. Hopefully I can make the next one.

hi...I am new to the 8 club...I just bought a new RX8 (red). I wouldnt mind getting together with a few others....get some tips and ideas on adding some new stuff.
I am on the west side of atlanta (douglasville).

There is lots of good info here and some not so good. Use the search button often when looking for info as many people will get upset with "noobies" that ask questions already posted. Don't take it personally though and you'll be fine.
