Cool man, I appreciate it. The insurance company finally got ahold of me today so I'll be shopping around for repair quotes using pics on Monday. If the pics don't work, I'm thinking about swapping bumpers sometime this coming Wednesday late afternoon or Thursday for more reliable quotes. I'll let you know for sure Monday.

I work from 11 to 5. And I still haven't solved the power loss issue with my car, I'm about to go find a cliff to drive it off.

 

On that note, anyone want to try and diagnose my car? I'm free Saturday before the evening and I'll owe who ever can fix it a case of beer, this thing has been driving me crazy.

Power loss in the upper revs, along with a bunch of little stuff that might or might not be related. Are you free today by any chance? I don't work until 7.

If not I'm planning on doing some more digging on Saturday for sure. Any help is good, different minds think differently.

Thanks again JIN13 (+wife) and roflcopter for coming over and installing my new bumper! next step will be to decide on the paint for the oil cooler openings and front bumper skirts followed by the installation of the rear bumper skirts. I'm thinking stormy blue mica to match the MS spoiler and make it two-tone, but not sure yet.

I think you'd have to do some modifications since it's for S2's, but should be doable if you have the time and patience. I say that since I've seen threads with people putting exterior S2 parts on S1's. I ordered from Japanparts: JDM Japanese Auto Parts specialists | japanparts.com

The exchange rates are amazing right now. I got the complete set (includes the rear skirts), but I think the S1 aero flares are just as good and are more reasonable in price. I also chose to have it delivered straight to my door via airmail from Japan so shipping was more than the set. If you don't mind waiting a bit longer, shipping via boat is a lot cheaper although you need to take into account some other charges at the port. If other locals order, they can ship them all together and you'll save money when splitting. I think I have discount points that I can give you as well, but don't know how that translates in $.
