Lego bring the coupon.
Going up today to watch--but I cant believe that Chars rather run that thing over his rx8.
I think I am going to run a 5w/40 RP this track event just to see. Since I can no longer premix--got to do something.

Well guys, I am back out, I have to spend all the week on the road, west-coast swing. I don't think it is fair, to be gone all week and then stick the wife with the kid all weekend too. Especially since I have to be gone all next week as well.

Guys, keep them on lock down ... good luck and bring pictures back.

However, I have rented a Z06 (C6) for Roebling, so I hopefully I will have something for the Time Trial folks.

Charlie was hauling *** yesterday at RA until he got black flagged.
They are laying rubber down on the track for us--they said there was a couple of slick spots to start with that got better by the 2nd day.

Well, everyone. After taking everything off inspecting or replacing it on the car. I was finally putting it back together, got the engine fired up again (running great), was doing my final check on the wheels and tires and noticed that the rear passanger tire didn't rotate correctly. So on further inspection I found that the wheel bearing was bad, so luck for me I caught it early.

Lego, I've not seen any of your pics from CMP. Did you get the one of me entering turn 1 driving your car with both of my hands up at my ears waving and sticking my toung out at you. Looked like you were taking a pic so I thought it appropriate!

Now you know that statement is not true! Look at the list of cars in HPDE3. Besides, having a slow car and being slow are 2 different things. We all know that olddragger is no slouch...

Dave - sorry to hear you are not coming but I do understand the circumstances. What Roebling event are you planning on?

all those cars are prepared or monsters to start with! Oh well I'll just turn on my radio and rock out! Not really but I am going to have fun.
Charlie told me that turn 5 and turn 1(i believe) was slick on Saturday but by sunday it was better. Traction is not the same as the old track guys --so we will have to feel her out. These events are laying some rubber down for us. Turn 12 is a little changed and has better markings.
Dave we will miss you there but understand priorities.
TA will give us a report from this w/e--right?
Have yall heard from Silvereight about the type event he went too? Man that was some cool stuff--I HAVE to do one if it is offered again.
For those that are interested LOTEK now has a center pod for gauges--check out the interior thread on the forum. it is for 2 1/16 gauges.

OD, David (vette6autox) asked about you. I think you two will have a great conversation when ya’ll get together at the track sometime. I hope to ride in his Vette this coming weekend at Road Atlanta. For those of you that may not remember... David was the instructor riding in the Black Vette that smacked into the wall at Barber for $19K worth of damage. Which was the catalyst for putting on the event that OD just mentioned.

I want to hear about what it felt like to be the passenger in that vette that hit the wall at barber. Has he talked about that anywhere? 19K, that all, wow, it looked much worse than that. still scary as hell. glad I don't have lots of torque.

Everything will be OK soon OD. Only about a week and a half now. Everything will be all right.

Drive up again next weekend and lets hang out at RA again, study the track, watch the BMWCCA and chat with instructor TrackAddict.

Oh and catch a ride with David (vette6autox) in his Corvette.

german and spanish.

This will make you all laugh, I can't do much but laugh about it now.

Well, I'm stuck at home today same as yesterday. Me, being the dumbass that I am, got the worst case of poison oak I've ever gotten. I've gotten it bad too from camping in the scouts when I was young. I know what it looks like which is why I'm a dumbass. I was helping a friend clear trees Friday from the recent tornados here and didn't wash up afterwards fast enough. Got it on both arms from my wrists to below the shoulder, I was wearing gloves thank God. Yes, I was wearing a short sleeved shirt stupid me. We, I went to the doctor yesterday since it wasn't letting me sleep and it got infected. I went through a 1/2 roll of paper towels yesterday cleaning the ooz from the wounds. Still oozing right now by the way. Thererfore, I have to stay home and tend to the arms. Again, have I told you I feel like an idiot? Anyway, I got a shot in the *** from a nurse (that was pretty uncomfortable since I hadn't gotten a shot in the *** in a long time), got prescibed steriods to help the inflamation and anti-biotic for the infection. I finally got decent night of sleep last night only waking up once. Also, Calamine lotion and I are the best of friends now. It isn't working all that great, but helps a little. Both arms are pink now and I can't get the stain out even with a shower.

Anyway, I can finally bend my left arm all the way now and the shot in the *** is slowly helping me get better, though I had to sit leaning to the right most of yesterday evening from a soar left butt cheek.

I'm going to try to put the brake rotors on the RX-7 this evening since I've been miserable and unable to do anything for the last 3 days. We'll see how that goes. They are integrated hub/rotors so it isn't as easy as the RX-8. I had to get 4 bearings pressed in last week.

Alright, now that I have you all laughing, have a great day... I'm only here for your amusement.
