3rd Annual RX-8 Descent on Road Atlanta March 16, 17, 18 2007 with NASA-SE
that is not quite as many as I expected. I think the Roebling event this year in September will be a big one for us. I hope. I know I am driving it, and now with RA being re-paved, I really wish I was driving this one too. Even if it is full.
The "descent" part is how many of us and our other track ho's friends will be there.......
man oh man going back to work the Monday after is gonna suck...
Barber should be a big one for us also......

there will be a whole lot of us at turn 10 all weekend.
hey G, what are the chances of me getting to work start/finish? at CMP the guy who did it was a noob, but that was a much smaller event. I just think that would be fun too, I don't want to just work corners.

well hell--1st time i will be on the track without a fellow 8'er. I feel kind of sad.
As far as the 350Z goes-- if it is the one that I think it is--- I am going to get the hell out of the way before that thing sucks me up it's intake and farts me out leaving me a jumbled up pile of heated metal and urine lying beside the track on the back straight.
Looking at my listed I dont see anyone i can play with. poor me-- guess I better get better through turn 12 and try and keep up with these guys.

I look forward to it. I gotta get some seat time and knowledge. I'm at least a year behind you guys. If all goes as planned. I will see you there sometime this year. But by then you will probably be in DE4. I've never really gotten to run with ya'll. TGPR didn't count as I was a clueless-virgin-nub-dumb-***-idiot, kind of like now but a little younger!

Really try to go one Chin event and after that one event with amount of seat time you get, the high level of instruction they give, and the fact that they allow passangers (so you can ride along with professional racers, and there are a lot of them at Chin events including ROAR), I bet you will be in HPDE3 or even 4 if you want.

Charlie said today at the PANOZ event, there are some slick spots, mainly turn 5.
Also, I noticed the new gators have abrupt drop offs if you go too far over. If you look at the images I posted, you will see that entering turn 10A could be a real problem if you get off track.
I will be going back next weekend for the BMWCCA event so if anyone has a request for a close up of any specific spots, let me know and I will try to get shots posted before we go for our event on March 17.

Douze...........!!!!
I pulled the lodge out of storage yesterday and spent the day prepping and cleaning her up from four months in storage......I'm taking her to the lake next weekend for the maiden trip to kick off the camping season and make sure everyting works correctly.
STOKED!!!
