so.........maybe 15-20 for meet and greet brat night Friday and between 30 and 40 folks Saturday including the magazine folks, the NASA folks I invited, and whoever chooses to show up at the last minute........

*Note - those folks that think they may end up staying the night at the track due to maybe over indulging should think about bringing a tent or at the very least blankets to sleep in your car. We have the entire hill overlooking turn 10. We want you to have fun, but we don't need you to leave the safety of the group and be on the road if you have had a few too many.........K, off my box now.......

This is going to be an excitement overload.

Don't forget, we have a track virgin (asmoron) to break in. Has anyone started assembling the tools, Vaseline, tarp and such? I have a black hood if needed.

 

WOOHOO!!! asmoron, bring towels...............We need to see if we can borrow Charlies big overspary tarp, the redline pump, and the bearing grease.........L8...we need you to bring the zip ties.........I did the big rubber glove thing last time, silver, it's your turn..............TA, you have to wear the official checkered thong during the poping ceremony.......

Dont forget the compressed air and the blowtorch for the initation line thing. No drinking until the blowtorch is out----remember last time---poor guy.

will do, zip ties are always a part of my track prep list. I can bring a tarp, and the jumper cables, in case we get a flatliner

 

OD, I'm using a Bell. My glasses fit fine if I put them on after the helmet.

I'll bring the rope and pullys. I re-built them with nylon rope this time as the hemp was just a little too harsh. Oh, Phlash, I'll do the rubber glove thing If I can use that large -*** industrial grease jack thingy you had last time!

 

He's cool...he was at Roebling...burn marks are gone now.....the grease thingy is already loaded in the camper.

I'm gonna stitch a suit out of that Heat Wave stuff I have left over from my audio install. That'll deflect that blow torch. (well, it worked well enough on my little lighter-fed torch when I was soldering the wires)
