I believe to my knowledge that I am the first and only person that has this turbo upgrade from BNR. As soon as this thing gets tuned, I will go and dyno it. Then I will share with others. I was having some difficulties that set me back. But as promised I will do it!!! Trust me I want to see what this is capable of. I am only using the stock wastegate and have experienced a little bit of heaven. Time will only tell.

Haha. Well Greddy is just a company that puts together kits. It is actually a mitsubishi/MHI turbocharger. Greddy doesn't come out with turbochargers. HKS does the same. They use Garrett turbochargers and maybe HKS will cast their own compressor cover, but thats about it. I am making a hybrid of the 2. Mitsubishi just doesn't offer the best choices in compressor wheels. Mitsubishi does make nice turbine wheels and the open volute design in the turbine housing does flow well for its size.

 

I sent Jason an email about how to get the ball rollin with me sending my turbo to you. Do you think its possible I would have it back around the week of May 17th if I sent it out the beginning of next week??

 

Yaaayyy!! I ordered the Upgrade, just waiting on Jason to tell me where to send it!! Cant wait to get it back and see what this bad boy can do. Even though I wont have any stock data to start with.

Hey all. We found a restriction in the Greddy intercooler. 16 psi before the intercooler 6-7 psi at the engine. Testing is being done soon to see if the intercooler is the restriction. If it is, that needs to be addressed before respectable numbers will be achieved.
