It seems like you're taking two steps back to restrict/block it off with all that OE junk.

Anyone got information on how to connect the fans. I have a single fan so trying out to figure out which connector to use. The fan has 3 wires while the stock lead has 2.

Can't rum my car until this gets sorted.

It works! :-D
Coolant temps are ~17 degrees F lower for me at Laguna Seca.

rx8performance radiator vs stock 2004 coolant temps. Two laps from the middle of each session. Similar laptimes & air temps.

At first it didn't seem correct, but now I see that's a simple and elegant solution.

Glad to see your results blu3dragon! I would agree with Team on the OE parts. If you have an aftermarket intake removing the air box mount will improve airflow through the radiator and further reduce temps.

Just a heads up, there is another run of these finishing up now and a couple units not yet spoken for. If your looking to reduce your operating temps these unit's work really well!

In other news, was chatting with Ric from Ric Shaw racing and he reported in a 300km endurance event he competed in recently (and won) with his S2, temps were in the 90's C the entire event. Congrats, well done Ric!

Hi sapibuntinx,

This radiator does not have a provision for a built in heat exchanger style auto trans cooler. You would have better results using an external trans cooler than an integrated type and I can help you with that as well.

Feel free to send me an email to sales@RX8Performance.com or call the shop directly and I will be happy to advise you of some of your options.

Thanks, Scott

Is anybody using the RX8 performance Dual pass radiator in conjunction with a Greddy turbo kit? If so what radiator hose did you use on the bottom fitting of the radiator up to the engine thermostat housing? Or if you have a photo of your setup including the hoses in position would be great.
I have found a hose to fit to the top radiator inlet, but due to the fact the Greddy intercooler pipe sits so close to the bottom radiator outlet, it looks like I will have to modify the radiator outlet. Any help is welcome.
Thanks

Hi Rotaman,

Just sent over some pics of the OE hoses mocked up to fit, check your email when you have a moment!

Hope this helps, Scott

As I had said due to the Greedy turbo intercooler pipe being in the way, fitting a hose to the radiator outlet up to the thermostat housing is differcult, so we did some modifications to the radiator outlet. Here are some photos of the changes.

With a little bit of maneuvering, it isn't to hard to fit it into place.

Are these in stock at the moment? I was about to buy a Koyo, but it looks like these perform much better.

I'm using an AL. aftermarket single pass plus an extra small rad. mounted where the 2nd oil cooler would go. Works great!
