2007 Mazdaspeed 3 $15000 Tasteful Mods
posting this for a friend i know its not an rx8 but it needs to get sold...at least its a mazda lol
Car is in Tallahassee FL
For sale, no trades. $15,000 with all of the mods+stock parts.
850-524-1719
2007 Mazdaspeed 3 Grand Touring (adds leather, bose radio, HID lights, trip computer if I remember correctly)
47,xxx miles as of today. As it sits now, it's a solid mid 13sec car that looks fairly unassuming and is very versatile. I can fit almost everything I own in it.
Mods:
CPE Catless downpipe
CPE CAI
Cobb Accessport (should put the car a little under 300whp and a little over 300ft/lb.)
Rear engine mount
Shifter bushings
Hotchkis Front/Rear sway bars
HKS SSQV knock off BOV
New tires (Ecsta SPTs)
The good: I've taken care of it... or tried to. Front pads were replaced around 30k with Hawk HPS's. Transmission fluid was switched to Redline MT90 around 22k. Radiator fluid was just exchanged a month or two ago. Oil changes every 2500-4000 with Royal Purple (at the beginning) before switching to Pennzoil Platinum. Always used OEM Mazda filters.
The ugly: I was following a Fedex truck on the interstate right when I got the car. Truck threw it's tread, car in front of me flipped it up and the tread landed right in front of me. ~$1100 for a new front bumper which was replaced. The new bumper doesn't fit quite right, but can probably be made to with a little TLC. Only thing that needed to be replaced was the bumper. On the rear passenger door, there's a pretty deep scratch about 2.5in long. To the rear of that, on the wheel well, someone hit and ran me in the parking garage on campus. Small dent, can be fixed cheaply/easily I'm sure. A couple of nicks on the rear bumper from my sister loading a suitcase. Driver side, the side skirt is scratched up underneath. Inside, the driver's seat is showing some wear--the seat fabric is fraying a little bit. Some curb rash on the rims.
thanks for looking!

Damn it man..........I just bought my daughter a black 05, and we wanted Gray!
Good luck, but I think you are over-estimating the WHP.

ok so after talking with my friend he emailed me a couple links
he has all the parts (different brands) except for the catback and its putting down 304 HP at the wheels
http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=147047.0
Guy running same stuff(only Cobb branded stuff)+high pressure fuel pump+fmic: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showt...hp?t=123747276
Is 300 exact a little high? Possibly, but thats why the post says "a little less than 300whp". I'd say 290ish is a safe bet. Just like I believe that the car is a "little over 300wtq"

This is my car; easier doing this then going through vbrad.
The BOV supposedly comes off of the same line that the HKS one's do... only it's a hell of a lot cheaper. It's a RKM SSQV V2. It's been on the car maybe a month and a half. If someone still doesn't want it, the stock BPV is sitting right here on my desk, along with the stock sway bars, downpipe, airbox (Ok, those are in my closet...)
