ZFX(Z1) or Not?

I'm just educating myself on all the Zaino products. The site recommends using the Z1 - now replaced by ZFX - before the Z2 polish. Is this a necessity, or is it possibly overkill from the guys at Zaino? Has anyone experiment with and without the ZFX (or Z1) before the Z2?

if you don't use ZFX, you'll need to wait hours for the wax to settle before starting the next coat.

go to www.zainostore.com and read their tips and tricks. Very Informative.

it's not ZFX before Z2...it's ZFX mixed with Z2..

waxes/polishes need a curing time, sometimes an hour to overnight...ZFX just negates the time so you can put up to 4 coats of zaino in one day.

OK, I see ZFX is an additive, but the Z1 it replaces was a separate application. Thanks. I thnk I'l get the kit they offer at Zaino and give this a try.

ZFX is more advanced than Z1, as the Zaino site states. If you go with ZFX, you shouldn't use Z1 anymore. In my opinion, ZFX is a must have.
