Zaino lasts quite a long time from what people tell me. I wash my car religiously every weekend and even then I can still feel the polish.

My car gets Zaino'd once a month so not sure how long it lasts....

Nice. You could shave with that shine~!
I've never tried Zaino, does it just shine or does it protect too? How often should you do the whole Clay Bar, etc., etc. routine?

Thanks Phanton!

Taken from Zaino's website: "Z-2 PRO™ will give your vehicle's paint total environmental protection and a long lasting, impressive show car shine. Simply put, it is the only protection your vehicle's paint will ever need. Z-2 PRO™ will out perform, out protect, outshine and outlast anything on the market today, guaranteed!"

As for how often to Clay Bar.... I would say if you Clay once a year, you'll be in good shape. I'm due for a Clay Bar in a few months.

YEAH it does! The super slick surface of my car is able to penetrate the wind better, hence less drag, and more speed.

I think in about a month or so, it might be time for a Dawn soap wash and a good claybar session.

I kinda heard a story about something happening to your car Jedi....maybe we could get together for a Zaino party again...I don't know if my sandblasting is salveagable by Zaino...but I'm willing to try. Which product removed swirl marks (Z6?)...do you think it would do anything to sandblasted paint?

Yeah, I totally forgot to post my little 'incident' in the SB thread. Think I'll do that later tonight when I find my original post.

Definitely need to get together for another zaino session real soon. Once the rainy season starts, it's gonna be tough to zaino, so we need to take advantage while we can. Oh, your new best friend for those swirl marks is Z5. If that's the bottle you're missin', let me know and I'll send mine your way since that sandblasting proably wreacked havoc on your Zaino.

Cool Silver Zaino'd

Didn't feel like making a new thread so I am just dropping by after my first Zaino job. Sorry about the last photo I had to keep shrinking it to upload it.

Actually, it fits right in.
The title says "Zaino'd my car for the first time!", and this is his first Zaino.

That's how good the Zaino is. His car IS brilliant black.
Now the Zaino makes it shine sooo much that it's a perfect mirror reflection.
The silver you see is actually the overcast sky. WOW!!!

You're giving away all my trade secrets! Kwescott: we should do another Zaino session at your place soon. (with less cars though...) Those Volks would look SWEET with some Zaino on them.

Did 3 coats a couple days ago....two on just the front (in an effort to fix the damage caused by the winds and the san blasting), and one additional coat on the entire car....front is a loss. After the wedding, I will probably just have the car repainted. I may just do a two-tone at that time.
