Just got a copy of the latest consumer reports. They tested waxes/polishes, Zaino was not on the list. But then I realized that since I moved to the south and bought a home with no garage ( a LOT of homes around here do not have garages), that my car has not been Zainoed since the latter part of 2004, and has been exposed to the elements since Jan of 2005, and now in June of 2006, it still beads water and looks great! Perhaps not as great as back in 04 with probably 20 coats on it. But CR said no matter what you use count on no more then 5 weeks before having to do it again. I went 17 months! Zaino rocks!

 

What waxes did they test? Maybe it was just Carnubas and stuff

just ordered some zaino, can't wait to try it out. Been a big NXT user. So I made the plunge. What i'm confused about is it seems that all zaino is is a polishing agent. Does it offer any protection like carbubas do?

ORdered the Zaino kit, still sitting in my basement... have yet to have a free day to apply the ZAINO!!!!! , however i used the zaino carwash, its def. better than other carwash out there.

In a previous life, the thorough recommended application of the Z-treatment on my '04 BMW 745i Sport took an astonishing 2 days of constant work. As I recall, 20 coats of A-Z. What a big friggin car that WAS.

I just applied a Z-wash and Z6 'spritzer' to the '8' thinking I'd have time to apply a few coats of Z2-5, etc... Just the darn Z6 looks great! can't wait to give it a proper, albeit abridged treatment. (Red exterior).

Didn't know about Zaino until I joined this forum about a year and a half ago, but i took the plunge and have used it exclusively on my red 8.

Two weeks ago three different, total strangers remarked that my car looked brand new, though it's an early build '04. That's proof enough for me.

$80.00 worth of Zaino lasted a year and a half, and I used it on my wife's car, too. I couldn't be more pleased the product.

Just ordered my next shipment!

Zaino store is the only place I know to buy from. Their shipping is a bit hefty so I make sure to order a bunch at once...

 

Mine's an August 2003 build. Pampered, garaged and Zaino'ed. People say the same about mine nearly every week.
