As I cited at the top, the Mr. Clean system is my go-to most of the time.
Hey i think i will buy that kit this weekend as i just became a first time rotary owner w/my newly used 04 rx8 i purchased just two days ago w/only 19k orig miles on a fully loaded car even with factory paddle shifters on the wheel.
Im so in love hehe.
Un fortunalty on my 400 mile trip w/it back homeon interstate 40 from tn to nc a damn 18wheeler threw up a rock that hit my hood and put a half dime size dent in it and took a sharpened pencil lead size of paint off of it , i called the local mazda dealer here and they have the sunshine silver color paint touch up bottles for $6.50 so im going there in the morn and to also have the msp16 upgrade done to the ecu, all for free since its still under warranty till aug 26th 08

I wash mine with a lambskin mit and 2 buckets. One for soapy water and the other a rinse bucket. Rinsing the mitt gets the heavy sand or grit off the mitt before soaping it up again and putting it on the car. I too use a leaf blower to get all the water around the front grill, side vents, wheels, you name it. Then its easy wipe up whats left with micro fiber towels. I still have to open the rear windows to get water out there. I also open the doors, trunk, and hood and wipe up water accumulated there so it doesn't blow out later. Simple green on the wheels get them clean. I clay bar, polish, and wax once a yr and keep it covered in the car port when not it use.

Kinda like the de-ionized water output of the Mr. Clean rinse setting.

Kinda, but the Mr. Clean in my experience is not nearly as good as using distilled water. I do own a Mr. Clean.

Distilled water is of course best, as it contains zero soluable minerals and therefore almost zero potential for water spotting. But for we mere mortals, the Mr. Clean de-ionized rinse does an excellent job.

I've gotta try the Mr Clean Auto Dry or SOMETHING. I'm starting to see swirl marks/scratches in my paint. Probably from my "microfiber" drying mits.
