There was a thread on tip cleaning/polishing about three-four years ago that got me to try it.
My entire RB exhaust looks as good as the day I put the on.

I was thinking about that earlier today actually. I think it's on my laptop, I'll dig it up tonight when I get home.

Of course we all know the best way is to not let them get dirty in the first place. I probably wipe mine down at least twice a week and sometimes more, with just a clean fiber towel. This takes no more than one minute.
Then I use the above polish about every two months. That takes really no lomger than about ten minutes.

Hahah Dammit you beat me too it, I was about to post the exact same thing.
But this stuff is VERY ABRASIVE, do not use this but once a month. I used it on my old exhaust about twice every 2-3 weeks and eventually it started to eat away my finish lol, so be careful

And yes it was that exact same post that got me to try it as well and BAM!!! Whata know... Haha I love it, Best polish ive ever used hands down.

Oh, and since you bumped it. I bought this used Turbo XS since I sold my HKS and i didn't take any before pics but it was pretty nasty. I used good old Brasso and ultra fine steel wool to remove the crud and them meguilers metal polish to shine things up.

One recommendation from my years of cleaning would be to use Oven Cleaner, it works the best. Mr. Muscle, spray it on any Stainless steel metal and let it sit about 5 minutes and spray it off perfect every time. I wouldn’t use steel wool i would use a green SOS pad or hogs hair pad they wont scratch the finish for less time polishing.

Problem with oven cleaner is when the exhaust is on the car. It will ruin the shrouds and paint if it gets on it. It is really unnecessary when other products work just fine.

was telling someone recently that my favorite polish for exhaust pipes was ECP but not it seems they're no longer around.
did a few google searches annnnnd.....nothing.
dang.
now to find a substitute since I'm pretty sure the bottle I had was over 10 years and I recently threw it out.

Previously called Chrome / Hot Environment Polish. It cleans, polishes and protects all chrome, aluminium, brass, nickel, titanium. It is also formulated to handle high temperatures such as those found in car engine bays and also any metal surfaces affected by engine heat. Do not use on “Plastic Chrome”. Real metals only.
