Cleaning Powder Coated Wheels

Cleaning Powder Coated Wheels

When I get my wheels in the next couple of weeks, I want to know how to properly clean them with a black/blue lip powder coat. Does regular wheel cleaner work still?

i would actually wax them first with a really good wax, NXT or even zaino them.

first of all then, to clean should i just use a shammy? then to polish, isnt wax used for the clear coat of the car? shouldnt there be something specifically for the powder coated layer? wax might work though. well see, as long as i dont damage them!

i know alot of guys here, especially the cali guys ngorx8 and deedubbx wax their rims everytime they wax their car (both have powdercoated volks). As for the actually cleaning cloth a soft shammy should be just fine. Shoot some pics when you get a chance.

i should get the wheels in the next 3 weeks. after that, itll probably take a week or so to get dirty. then ill wash, wax, and take a bunch of pics. while were at it, my pics never show up properly when i link it to a url. do u know why by any chance?

as for cleaning your wheels im pretty sure your not suppose to use anything that is considered a degreaser...IIRC
