Burned my cloth seat?

I was vacuuming the interior yesterday with a regular vacuum since I couldn't find my "car-safe" vacuum, and I did not take into account that the power was on the highest setting. Today when I got into my car, I noticed a few of these tiny brown marks on the seat. As you may have guessed, yes, the seat kind of looks like someone wiped their *** on it. It's not too terrible, but if you're actually examining the seat, you will notice the marks. When I got home from work today, I spent half an hour scrubbing the seat with various products, but nothing seems to be getting rid of it. Could I have burnt the seat with the vacuum?

was there some sort of rotating brush that was spinning and produced enough friction to burn the seat?

you didn't have vacum it'self sitting on the seat where the heat of the motor might of burnt it?

make sure the contact surface of the vac is clean first- ie use some windex or something and wipe it clean first before vacuuming...

worse case scenario is you could try going to an auto upholstry place and see if they can touch up the color for you... i had a similar mishap on the leather in my bmw recently and the bmw dealer referre me to this awesome place that specializes in these kinda repairs. they charged me $125 to touch up some color. and, it looks new again- can't tell anything ever smeared on the seat.

good idea Detrich, but I would try and ask around first to see what will really work to clean it.

Of course if Jerky is as fast a driver as we think he is on the track that might explain the brown marks!

After further analysis I am withdrawing my theory about a vaccuum being the culprit because the marks are beneath the top layer of the cloth. But you can bet your *** it's not from a spilled drink or **** stain by me. I can't speak for the Mazda service techs who have worked on the car however.
