Some of you guys should try s100 concour wax. Its cheap $15 and gives a good carnuba wax durability. I've used zaino before and was really thrilled on how good it looks but after trying out some other products, that zaino isn't the best. One of my main concern about zaino also is that it attracts dust like magnet. s100(p21s) attracts a lot less dust than zaino which is good for anyone who owns a dark colored cars. I am currently using crystal guard and it's a lot easier to use than zaino or any other waxes. It gives my black paint a very glassy look and seems to darken my black paint too.

As a Zaino convert, I say POST PICS. Otherwise I remain a "Zaino is the best" person.

Ok Ok...time for me to post up.

I have been a Zaino "fan" for a few years now. I have been polishing my 99 Miata since day one with Zaino. Yes it is very easy to apply except for the initial application yadda yadda yadda. Everyone raves about Zaino's "shine" or "depth", what about protection? What's a nice shiny car if the wax/polish does not protect the paint? I can safely say that I had about 5 coats of Z2 and Z5 (lost count on coats of Z6) on my Miata. I had some F***ing bird make a little deposit on my trunk lid. I noticed this later in the day when I got out of work - keep in mind this was July or Aug-so it was in direct sun all day. I went home and rinsed the turd off and to my disbelief there was 2 haze marks on my trunk from where the turd sat. I tried using rubbing compound, Z5, etc and nothing would take the haze out of the clearcoat, seems it was underneath. As much as Zaino helped with the "shine", it didn't help to protect the paint from the harshness for the turd.

Since that day forward, I've switched over to Maguire's and have not looked back on Zaino. Maguire's can be bought locally, like LG and is easy to put on and take off and looks just as good as Zaino and protects. Does it protect better than Zaino, only time will tell, but all I know it's cheaper and works for me.

Not my own experience, and no idea, what Zaino is (either this forum's thing, or some US product I guess). But: Liquid Glass isn't crap, from what I read. In the biggest german Seat forum (www.seat-leon.de for those with german knowledge), Liquid Glass gets worshipped like nothing else. It seems to provide a very good glasslike surface with good protection and ever ongoing shine. It's what I'll buy and try once I get an rx-8

As for Zaino .. hmm .. their website mentions about every product they sell in the application guide. Sounds like way to much money making to me, good product or not. QUite complicated, too.

(NO, I', not in *any* way tied to Liquid Glass or any stores selling it )
