Wet 'N Wild AutoX

Hey everyone, just went to the Western NY Solo II event and got some video to share. Was a beautiful Buffalo day 53° and rainy, so plenty of splashing, sliding, and spins. Only one RX-8 was competing, hopefully I'll be able to drive mine in one of the next events. Right now I only put up the RX-8 vids, but there are a few more good clips of other cars. BTW, it was like Subies galore there. A few STI's and a gazillion WRX's. Only a couple of Miatas, one S2K, and no RX-7's. I was really impressed with the two S4's - they are rockets. Anyway, here's where the vids are located. http://www.geekpad.com/~rickr/AutoX/ They are in mpeg4 format, let me know if you have trouble getting them to play. Also, if anyone else wants to host them, feel free. Our server they are on now is just DSL and will only handle 1 or 2 connections at a reasonable speed. Enjoy! P.S. Sorry about the shaky hand and wind noise, it was chilly.

Could not find what opens these mp4 files, tried Divix, Media Player, Thumbsplus, IE6, Koolmovie, Quicktime, some others, then I gave up. Any suggestions. Thanks.

update - got latest Divix player, now I can see video, but it says unknown audio format so I can see but not hear.

2nd update - worked great in Quicktime - just had to manually open it. Thanx.

Quicktime should do it, try the latest version. If not, I'll try to re-encode them in something else.

Holy cow, that was me. I won BS for the day and can't wait to get on some dry pavement. The RWD cars did take a bit of a beating. I had just gotten the car two weeks earlier and only had 800 miles on it, so i did'nt even push it very hard.
It was a little disapointing to see a beautiful blue RX-8 there and not running, but we did have a nice talk, and I love the video. Thanks for not showing the spin on my second run.
I have been the only one carrying the rotary torch in the WNY solo2 for years and am hopeful that more 7's and 8's will be there soon. It is a very nice autocrosser.
