He and I are both running whiteline front offset UCA bushings. I have plenty of front camber adjustment at 13.5" ride height.

Can you get 3 degrees"
Another question. What cooling upgrades are you running?
Upgraded thermostats for oil and water? or bigger radiators?
TIA

right now, the only cooling upgrades i have is koyo radiator. i might make shroud for the radiator and also relocate the stock oil cooler to get more air from the front, they are offset for the fog light, and i took them out.

did a first track event this past weekend for a shake down run. no major issues other than bad ground wire to the chassis made the car shut off during hard cornering, when the electric power steering used the most power. and the nut on the exhaust vband flange came off. ran on 10 years old all season tires that came with the car when i bought it. also brought a set of used Conti but they chunked after 2 session, they were pretty old. played around with shock settings and tire pressure a little.
had fun chasing another rx8 around on track. he had shocks, exhaust, and azenis 2 tires. stock tune and full interior.

Since removing the fog lights leaves lots of empty room, I made a simple bracket to move the oil cooler over by 2", to get more air to it. I just loosen the rear bracket and move it as needed.

After the first competition at Summit Point where I got coolant overflow, I decided to do hood vents to help keep coolant temp down and also increase some front downforce.

i was hopping the AiM solo DL 2 would be out by now and use that as water temp gauge. i sold the old DL a couple months ago.

If you still have issues after your hood mod, make sure your AST cap is working and the mating surface below the overflow hole is clean.
I ran into problems my car would dribble coolant from the overflow when autocrossing and it took me forever to figure out it was the mating surface. It turns out that when you hook up the coolant system tester, it makes better contact with the AST than the cap does. Likewise, the tester makes better contact with the cap than the AST. So, kept having an issue, kept testing, no leaks, pulled hair, went crazy, took somebody's advice and did a thorough wipe down of the mating surface. No more maple syrup smell.
It didn't look dirty but the problem hasn't come back since then.

i'm planning to get the moroso AST eventually, but the oem AST was recently replaced before the got the car. so i'm going to use it for this season.
i got an overflow can on ebay for $12 and made a quick bracket. it would at least catch any water that might spray out the AST.

Which hood vents are those, and why did you pick them? I have a set of Singular vents coming tomorrow. I hope to get them on the car before a return trip to Mid-O in a couple weeks.

a few of my bmw buddies used those vents, they look pretty good quality, that's why i went with that style. i got the bmw front vent and miata NA rear vents.

I plan to be at all NASA GL events this year. The only one I skipped was Gateway. Pitt is phenomenal and I can't wait to go back.

awesome, pittrace is a great track now that they added a second track and repave the whole thing. what class you running with nasa? my car is currently PTD, even though i'm still 15 whp down from max for the class. if i have a new motor by then, i can run ST5 which was the plan for this car.

I'm competing in TT5 this year. Nearly everybody in TTD in GL made the switch to 5 as soon as it was available.
I'll try ST5 eventually, but I'm in no rush to go w2w. I place some of the blame for my accidents last year on going too far too quickly. Now I'm in a new car with a lot to learn, so I'm trying to take it slowly. It's paying off.
I'd like to do comp school before the end of the season, but we'll see.

Ah I see. I've been doing TT for almost 10 years. Just did comp school and first race last weekend. I hope there's still some ptd left for me to run with. I can bump up to st5 but with the current engine, I'm way out of class.

Yeah, this is only my second full season of TT. I'm a bit frustrated with some of the format's limitations, so I won't be in it for long.
ST5 in our region is not well-subscribed yet. I'm competitive on paper with their fastest laps, or I will be with new tires. But there's not a ton of data yet, so that could change.
How much power are you making, and what's your weight like?

current power is 168 whp mustang dyno, so I have to add 10%. and comp weight is 2900 right now. i need to drop more weight and add increase power

Assuming that Mustang dyno result is 15% lower than a Dynojet, that’s right about where mine should be. Maybe. I was able to get away with a two-year-old dyno result this year, but I really ought to have the car tuned and run on a dyno.
