LOL!!!!

WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE IN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT?!?!?!?
because theres cars on the road?
YOU RUN THE MOUNTAIN AT YOUR OWN RISK. IF YOU **** UP YOU **** UP then you gotta deal with that.

people who say running the mountain is wreckless and dangerous have no *****.

the point of mountain runs or "touge" is to run your car hard and not slow down.

running the mountain shows the knowledge the driver has over his car and on the road.

tracks are too controlled and have to many rules just for a simple race.
mountain roads simple do not have rules and not to mention the roads are FREE!

drifting is different.
id much rather drift on a track then on the canyon.

controlled environment so you don't harm others because of your stupidity.

Touge takes an incredible amount of skills and *****.. but there's a difference between being brave and being stupid. It's a fine line, but it's there. Touge is amazing and of course it's dangerous, but in a sanctioned touge race, you're only in danger of harming yourself and maybe the other driver you're going up against. And that's fine, because it's your choice.

What if you hit some family in a minivan on a vacation? You'll have to deal with it? That's ******* stupid.

touge is at your own risk!
ALONG WITH DRIVING PERIOD!

so you deal with what you hit!

That's fine. Just don't **** up and leave a wreck that someone can ram into at night. Or **** up and hit someone at night. Or **** up and kill yourself and cause people who know you grief.

As much of a proponent of speedy driving and driving for enjoyment as I am, I have a massive dislike for such disregard of safety. When you do a mountain run at night and take a blind curve and come out ramming a truck head on, then you'll understand why Japan put up those godawful speedbumps.

that would make it a controlled environment.

btw, you have to prepare for the worst. it's just sensible.
