I have takata long harness's PN# MPH-341W, im looking to install them with my Bride XAX seats that i purchased.
I was wondering if someone could show me pictures of how they have these installed so i can have them installed the safest way possible.
thanks.

Roll Bar......
I think it's been beaten to death already.....OEM seats and harnesses for anything other than Autocross use are dangerous.
If you want to...buy hardened eye bolts for the OEM seatbelt bolts and hook up to there. It's the shoulder straps that are a problem...they need to be installed so they don't compress your spine in a crash...difficult to do without the bar to attach them too

Thanks ... I am using the 8 as a race car in the very near future but I am putting the roll cage idea aside first before getting a few non shocking quote first.
I have taken the back seat out and would that help in bolting them in. What is the commonest point of anchoring?
I don't mind drilling but would like some clever idea.
I have a 6 point harness and a matching race seat.

The shoulder straps need to be mounted at 90 deg from the axis of your spine...or about 40 deg from horizontal. This is difficult to do without a bar.
You also need to mount them to a reinforced point in the body...look at the are where the rear seatbelts are anchored....except I think that is too low
If you are going to race the car...get a roll bar at least with bracing....Otherwise you are asking to get hurt if you crash. Any race series that allows a harness will require a bar of cage anyway...might as well bit the bullet and do it!!

Thanks for the help guys. I do know what to do. I will go to my race shop and hand over the money
BTW... I am getting a race seat because I broke the back of the OEM seat. Then I went home and thought, "may as well make it a track car"
So I am actually more intensely shopping for a daily drive (aiming small car with good fuel econ and fun) ... that will be another thread.
