Shift points for best acceleration?

Has anybody calculated the shift points to get the "best" acceleration
out of a 6-speed RX-8? I haven't seen a torque curve for the Renesys
engine recently but I vaguely recall that torque/hp fall after 8K rpm.
Am I remembering correctly?

I think honnestly the best way to win a race is to shift at 8.5k or 9k (RL), a major advantage the rx8 has over many other cars is its high RL. i always shift around 8.7-9k i have found this works best but dont misshift!!!!

good luck bro, this works for me!
