I do feel for you guys on travel. And heck I only have to drive 4 hours. Should be a fun drive though, poor 8 is going to be loaded, wheels, jack, tools, wife, wife's ****, I hope I can fit it all!

If I can quit getting things stuck in my throat, I probably would have won a couple of the big ones by now.
3-2-2. Maybe this year is the numero uno.
Finally getting the hang of the Slowbalt.

JimRon have really improved their CSP car from what I saw this last weekend.(Watch out Fraser!)
I don't know why they have my car in there as the Slowstice still..I am in the Slowbalt now.
Mr. Goeke was not on his best set of shoes at that event.

I was just showing how the car isn't an overdog..I mean, hey, if that Booer guy can beat us so soundly, that Slowbalt must not be that fast.
Besides, racing a SEB member while trying to keep a secret doesn't work so well....
I think Joe has new skins. He was saying this was the last event on those babies. They are going to the practice pile.
He did really well on them though in the last few weeks. Maybe that was their last gasp?

BOOer got a rerun...until then, Joe was leading. He was shaking when he came in from that run. You know it's a good one when Joe is shaking.

Tell you what, even if the Cobalt is a little bit of an overdog for DS, who cares? It's a class in need of new blood and revitalization. Yes, JT did extremely well in the Audi, last year, at HPT, but outside of that example, I can't really see anything else that has come along, besides the Cobalt, to potentially dethrone the Acura IT-R...the timing for which is good, because the IT-R is becoming rarer than hen's teeth in stock form, which ultimately hurts the class.

DS needs to be the rally car class + AS cars that can't get it done.(135i?)
GS needs to be the FWD LSD class. Slowbalt goes there along with MS3 etc.
MiniS's have had their time at the top. Tour entries are at 6.75 avg through Packwood Open+L which is midpack I think for stock classes.
Besides, I heard a birdie say the other day that there might be some $contingency$ coming the Slowbalt's way....For Solo play! Welll...at least that part is a maybae. But definately not a no-way! Let's Party!
Kevin says 3 sets of tires fit in the thing with no passeger.?!?!?!I can see 2 sets but 3!?!?!(I think he is guessing)
OH! 30mpg+ on the freeway if you keep it down around 60

I agree that DS should become the rally car class, but keep stuff like the 135i and other 2wd stuff out of it...send them to BS...including the Slobalt, if it proves to be too fast for the GS/FWD LSD class. BS is going to be changing over the next year or two anyhow, right?
As far as the Mini Coopers, I've never been able to figure out why Mini has been given two classes to dominate...well, except for the contingency stuff.

Anyone going to Packwood with cabin room to share, please let me know. Have Hotel Packwood reserved for Pro, though wait-listed for the tour weekend. Fiancee and I will be traveling together, so looking for a separate bedroom in a cabin.
Crest Trail Lodge is all booked, and Hampton House B&B is no longer in business. Thx!
