i just love the sound of the 3-rotor. the orange car, the #63 Roger mandeville car, came to the Walter Mitty Challenge at Road Atlanta last year, and outside of the other rotaries, the only other car that sounded that cool was the old F1 Mild Seven car that was there.
Lego,

I need good copies as well for the club's 07 season DVD I'm doing. If you can get the raw format to Travis and/or Don I can get what I need from them. Additionally, if you have the pics you took in hi-res, I need those also. Nice talking with you yesterday. Glad you made it home. Thanks for all the updates.

I'm surprised that there weren't many 350z and G35s!

there was at least one G35, this is their first season, and they are still developing their program, much like the 3 rotor GT Speedsource cars were last year. the 350Z runs in the GS class.

and originally by SNTP

yes, we are very familiar with the car, but it is still a Mazda backed sports car, in a very competitive class. We can still be very proud to be an rx-8 fan, and a fan of rotary powered cars in road racing. The cars going round in circles in Nascar resemble the car they represent a whole lot less.

When I was talking to the Goldin Bros, they told me that their 3rotor was built on an RX-8 body. They took a stock RX-8 and gutted it to make their car. It isn't a tube chassis with an RX-8 looking exterior.

I was talking to a guy named Mike in the garage area (I don't have his last name but I do have his phone number). He is working with an other guy to produce PPort 4 rotor race engines in the US. The template engine for this is coming from Australia. He is the the one that is suppose to get it working. One it is working the money guy will start producing these for sale. Mike will get to keep the original for his work.
He is interested in trying to port a Renesis. If anyone is interested, I can give you his number.

Here's the 08 idling...

I also have a video of the #70 at night. It's short and a little blurry, but you can see the 1/2 car length of flame from downshifting. Anyone interested?

The Koni Challenge Grand Am Daytona Race will be airing on SPEED this weekend. Saturday at 8:00 PM EST. Watch the team you read about! Plus, I might be on TV for a second or two...

question, did anyone watch the broadcast? I had it on the DVR, and #$%& SPEED Channel, the first 30 minutes of my scheduled recording was some stupid *** NASCAR show, about a race i don't care about. Then, that left 90 minutes, for a 3 hour race. I have only watched a little of it. Did they just condense it into 90 minutes, or did I get hosed, and I won't get to see the end? And don't tell me who won, I have avoided looking at this, and the Mexico City race, both are on my scheduled viewing list for tonight.

Let's just say one manufacturer was freaking dominate in the Street Tuner Class at Daytona and another in Mexico.

well, from what Rob said, and what I have seen so far, the Acura's ran away with it. What I want to know is, did I get hosed by SPEED and my cable provider, or did they condense the 3 hour race down to 90 minutes?
