Question Daytona Rolex 24 or Sebring 12 hour interest?

Classic Mazda Orlando is currently considering setting up a Hospitality area for RX8 owner's (or any other Mazda Owner's) at the 12 hours of Sebring in March. They may also consider the Rolex 24 at Daytona, as there will be at least 2 RX8s in the 24 hour race.
I am researching this for Classic Mazda, as they would like to set up an event if there is significant interest. If you are interested, please reply (or e-mail me directly at MSR20@cfl.rr.com). Also, please indicate your preferred event (Daytona or Sebring).

Here is a video link if you want to know what you will see at Daytona:

Thanks
Scott

I am sure there are a lot more RX-8 / Mazda Owner's out there who will also be attending. Unfortunately, i am not sure how to reach them all. Are there any "local chapters" with a list of contact names available? If anyone has ideas on how to spread the word, i would appreciate it. Classic Mazda really wants to do something like this, but only if enough people show interest.

It seems that I own the only rx8 in the greater jacksonville area. At least on this site. I have our local scca banquet this weekend, will be happy to bring it up, but I am again the only one of two that run in our region.

I can see if I can drum up some interest in my local Tampa/Orlando group, though interest has been somewhat scarce for whatever reason. At this point, I'm only completely sure of two people attending. We may have as many as 5, but I haven't heard any confirmation from 3 of them. I'll keep asking folks as much as I can.

I'd say, why don;t we just post a thread with enough anticipation in order to get the people together.

For my part, you can PM me and we can arragene something, I might come with mi wife and some people from this area

I am scheduled to be at the ROLEX over the weekend. One of my customers is having a hospitality tent so I am there. If Classic is going to do something I'll bring the 8. Otherwise I'll be in one of my company cars because of the traffic.

MSR20 - there is another thread about Rolex already in this southeast forum.

If you are doing research for all Mazda models there are FL groups of 3's, 6's and of course 7's.

looks like we missed the boat. anyone could buy tickets to the 'milestones club' which gave you infield parking, breakfast , lunch, access to the fan zone, and TWO LAPS OF THE TRACK AT NOON.
I found out about it thru a friend who is a member of the ford svt club.
I called the track though and they are sold out.
something to remember for next year.

Hey guys, last call for whoever is going to be there. I'll be there with two of my non-RX8 friends and will be riding up in my friend's Blazer for tailgating purposes. I'm only going to make it Saturday/Sunday, but I should be there early Saturday. If any of you guys would like my cell number, just fire me a PM. Hope to see all you guys there!
