40 weight oil is plenty thick enough, don't go nuts in that department.

Use the best pump gas you can find - 93+ if poss - the RB flash causes detonation with 91 on mine.

I've decided to go with BG oil... Probably 30. My mechanic also recommended perforated disks in the front... And they were finished anyways so it was good timing.

Now to find a decent helmet for a decent price lol

Stock rotors are more than adequate, I use them on the WC cars and nothing outbrakes us. YOur mechanic is giving you poor advice in that regard. Not sure about BG oil- would stick with Redline/Joe Gibbs/etc.

+1 The 'word' is 'cross drilled', try a search at any reputable rotor manufacturer site. For example at Stillen if you read this http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=BPSPTROTR01 they say "Cross-drilled rotors are not recommended for serious track duty" in several places as a caveat to using theirs. Since any track duty is basically 'serious', best to stay away. Don't misunderstand, you're not going to fall of the track or anything, and there are some expensive designs that do work, but for our car that's totally a waste and longterm you're asking for troubles, so why go that route?

Don't spend that money yet. You'll need it for other things, such as tires.
