Launching my rx8

just wanted some other peoples views on how to get a good launch start..
i get it up to 7500 and sort of ease the clutch in.. is there any other way to do it??
just wanted to know what would be the quickest waay to start..

Rev to redline, hold clutch halfway, then off u launch, say bye bye to clutch.... that's it.

ha ha i dont want to smash my clutch just wanna launch it hard.. if thats possible

There's no way you can launch it hard without frying your clutch and the 8 is no drag car.

you can launch hard near 4k without killing your clutch. That is close to where your peak torque is.. and will get you out of the gates without too much wheel spin if you do it correctly.

Theres a few people on here who drag their cars, you may want to just wait for them to chime in... as they will probably be a lot more knowledgeable on the matter.

5k rpm... dont dump the clutch!!!! feather it out. takes practice...

^^^ What he said. That's exactly how I do it. Feather it fast to keep the revs up, but without spinning. A squeek or two is about perfect, IMO.

quickest way? try it out at every rpm for yourself. then go get another clutch from mazda.
