Am I correct in reading that "Emissions control systems can be removed" and "Exhaust systems are free" means I can take the cat out and run a midpipe?

They make a nominal difference... but definetely not worth the cost.

You'll get more power for a similar price from a better fuel management system and good tuning.

 

Every 1/1000th's counts man. Nominal differences can make or break in TT.

 

That's true. But I must humble myself and confess that I have far to go before adding 5 HP shaves off even a single 1000th of a second. But I do agree.

Autocross would be so much easier if it didn't have all those darn turns!
