Knee pads?
anyone here has bruised knees after a day of autocrossing?
even with my R3's Recaro seats, I found myself hitting my knees all the time on the door and the center console.

Well the pad below will help with your right knee. Wait they also sell a pad for the left, problem solved.

I actually broke a point and shoot camera once cuz I left it in a cargo pocket during an AutoX. I too, get bruises on the sides of my knees though. Not sure how much a CG lock helps but for $30 or w/e it's worth a shot.

If I can't afford a racing seat this winter, I'll be getting that for my car next year for the left-hand side. My right leg/knee doesn't seem to bother me, but my left knee is always bruised especially after a 2-day autocross on a grippy surface.

I need knee pads, but it has nothing to do with AutoX.
You know that stupid little change thing next to the door? It opens up on me every once in awhile, I usually notice. But yesterday it did it and I didn't notice. Went to get out of the car a literally drove my knee cap straight into that stupid little thing. Hurt like hell and left a nasty mark and bruise on my knee.
I can't believe it didn't break as hard as I hit that thing.
Funny, but true.

Power!!
If you want a 4 point seatbelt you need an ambulance nearby. 5 or 6 point are the only safe belts.
CG lock works really well for me in my slippy slidey leather GT seats.

You just need to install it upside down to work with our style shoulder belt.

Awesome, thanks for the link. I've never had problems banging up my knees, but rather used my feet to try to keep my legs planted and in turn the rest of my body in the seat. Very often my left foot would cramp up in the middle of a run while making a hard turn. Hopefully these pads along with the CG lock will help a bit.
