Lots of autocrossers use this type of thingie...but, if it's just rubber "klag" and you aren't in a situation where you have to go out and run as fast as possible, immediately, I'd just drive it off.

I scrape the big blobs off with a scraper...the rest comes off in 2-300 miles.

I'm having the same problem with the wheels. Won't come off with a scrub brush.
Next time I will use an old credit card.

Brake cleaner helps alot, but you have to be quick.

Anyone else have ideas or use something different?

Or, go to your nearest Tack shop (Horses) and get a Metal Curry Comb and save about $25...

Method 1
Go to an empty parking lot, turn the wheel fully to one side and take a few spins (not fast), then do the other direction

swap front & rear tires, then repeat

knocks it right off

Method 2
Drive faster :P

How about bringing an Oven Mit and just wiping off the tires by had after a hot session or after the last lap of the day?

Those Auto Xer's wash their tires after every run!
