I had thought it would be simpler to leave the majority of the interior in and do a Touring 3 style cage but you have all brought some good points to the table. The cage would be stronger and neater if done properly with a clean interior.

Lots of great places to do the work but so far nothing remotely close to Arkansas.

What else have you guys got?

Tom just built an RX8 to the Koni Sports Car Challenge specs and is going to run a few races this year along with some Club Racing. I suspect he would rent the car out for HPDE/Open tracks. Tom is a good friend and we talk frequently about the technical details of the RX8.

Thanks guys. This has been weighing heavy on me lately. I've reached a point that I have to make a decision. It looks like it's time to make a track car or back down on the aggressiveness and it is way to hard to back down. I'd like to run TT but that is just pushing it too much without safety equipment. So, I will be staying in DE4 until I get something worked out. This input is a tremendous eye opener. Thanks to all of you and especially Eric... see you at RA shortly dude.
