what a fustercluck...You'd think there'd be a better way to do registration, with the huge demand for an event like DC...maybe a lottery type system would be more equitable? I understand some just couldn't get the online registration to load or refresh on their browsers...doesn't seem fair.

It's also interesting to note C-stock has not made a class at Toldeo (1 entry) or DC Pro's (3 Entries)....

Some? Try pretty much everybody from 3:00 (it opened a few mins before that and a few people got most of the way in before it jammed up) until about 4:15 (they must have reset the server or something because it started moving fast again in a new browser session my old session was still hung up. this is when I got in at 4:17 and I was around number 50 into the event at that time). Then from about 4:25 (about 70 people registered at this time) until about 5:25? it was jammed up again. At that time there was another 10 minute window that people were able to get into the event. I know there was another window a little after 7 when people got in also (about 200 into the event at 7:30 when I left work) but not sure if there were more than that or not.

Faxed entries seemed to go in sporadically thru out the afternoon.

By 3:40 many people had decided to start faxing entries to get a timestamp on them in case the system was going to be down forever and that seems to be where many of the strange tire choices are coming from (like Chike running on Hankooks) but now that the system is working as well as the scca registration system ever works people should be able to go in and fix things.

Agreed - the numbers in CS seem to be down this year, while BS numbers are healthier than ever.

When I went in this morning to fix my tire choices, the tire selected for me for Dixie, Finger Lakes and the DC Pro had all changed to Hankook??? I've now fixed it on my end - I'll have to see how long it takes for it to show up on their end.

If it's not corrected by next week, I'll send N. Downing an e-mail.

The reason it is changed for all events is because it is set in your car profile not in your registration profile for that event.

Changes happen right away.

The mini how to on how to change your car tires (WARNING! this will change the listed tires on your car for all events with that car if you need different tires on a car for different events you have to create a second car)

Login to scca system.
Events -> Edit Event Registration
Click any event if you want to change it for all
Click the pencil icon by the car
That will bring up the Edit - SCCA Cars window. This is where you change the tires that it will show on the entry list.
Select correct tires.
Click Save.
Click Save

If you need to change the tires for one event just click the plus sign beside the car selection list in the edit event entry and add a new car with the information you need for that event.

Ridiculous. Clearly there's a demand for two events on the eastern seaboard-make it happen, SCCA.

Similar to what happened the last few years, they've raised the entry cap for DC. Now showing 238 registrants and growing...
