I know it will take you right out of the stock class. Not everyone autocross's there car every weekend. Some people like there car to be stiff at all times and are willing to compete in Solo II when they do autocross. But alot of them will upgrade just to have that ride quality at all times. Not trying to steer people away from stock class. But there really isnt any Shocks out the the 8 yet. As soon as they are count vividracing to carry em.

Vividracing.com.. head into Dan's office and him about KC from Nasioc. That's me.

I'm not a fan of your company, at all, due to the crap you have given on other forums. This thread IS ABOUT BS in auto-x, not about "those who might not want to be in BS." How about contributing to what's available now for BS. DOn't have anything? Don't respond with a sales pitch for other products.

There ARE suspension products available.. but they're mostly one-offs and not mass produced items. You don't know about them becuase, well.. you only carry OTS products... and that's another argument in itself as far as what you have stocked vs drop shipped.

Even if you carried the best suspension for BS... I would never buy it from you. And I hope to lead by example.

Have a nice day. (And I don't care you you just work for them or not... I don't like Vivid as a whole.. nothing personal against you.)

Let's please keep this thread on path.

Vivid and several companies sell the Tanabe, Racing Beat, MS, and whiteline bars for our car. As to the Coil-overs... That is an issue for a different thread as this one is clearly for B-Stock Solo2 class.

Now, vivid did bring up the upgraded end links. These do fit in stock class (at least I'm pretty sure they do).

It's my opinion that they are completely unnecessary, no matter what the brand. Does anyone else use these?

It's also my opinion that the front sway bar is the biggest improvement outside of tires and alignment that you can make for this class. The shocks will definitely help once you have done this and reached a national level of competition. Personally, I hope KYB makes shocks for the car

Aftermarket endlinks are legal in Stock. Stock endlinks could break when combined with an aftermarket sway bar -- S2000s have this problem. I'd hope / assume that any aftermarket bar would come with beefier endlinks for exactly that reason, though.

Sadly alot of aftermarket sway bars do not come with end-links. We abviously reccommend buying beefer end links so they dont snap and to increase stiffness.

I've had the Tanabe front and rear bars on for quite some time with the oem endlinks. If they break then I'll consider upgrades. I don't know of anyone who has broken them yet on the RX8 (except for one person who installed the bar wrong :o ).

Thanks!

It and the daily driver 97 camry will be for sale as soon as the wife approves the new car (most likely RX-8).

Wanted a car with the wow-factor of the Z, the quiet tolerable ac having interior of the Camry, and flat tossable handling of the Z. Something I could autocross if I wanted and still drive to work w/o smelling like athe inside of a muffler. I love the Z - but the wife has never even ridden in it, It's just for my son and I. I'd like to bring the whole family along when we go motoring...
