Autocrossing...in an Auto?
Hey guys,
I wouldn't be surprised if this has been posted before, but I searched, with little luck. Everything I found was specific to the MT. So, my question is...will a tight autox track pretty much leave me in low rpms in 2nd gear, with absolutely no power? I've never been autocrossing before, and I'd like to get my feet wet. I just wondered if anyone else here did it in their auto.

I had a ball in my AT on the track and beating the manual RX8's. Priceless.

OP, Nearly all the time on a AutoX run you'll launch and go to second and stay there. I have yet to find a course in the 8 where I needed to go back to first during a run. Good luck!
