Auto 8 for auto-x

I decided to use my 8 for auto-x, I have the sports package and was wondering if there are any other mod suggestions to add. I've never auto-xed before, but I wanted to start a club with my 8, and I don't care for dragging especially since I would suck at it.

All help is appreciated, thanx.

Suggestion -- enter as many events as you can before modifying your car.

Changing the car before showing up for your first autocross is a common novice mistake. Mods can make a car a few tenths or even a full second faster, but why bother when the driver's several seconds slower? Once you've done enough events to know the right lines, how your car behaves at the limit, how to turn in consistent times, etc., then start thinking about changing your car.

As Steve said, go to a few autocrosses and mod the driver first. And talk with the people and get an idea of what class you want to run in and then mod your car to that level. Be careful because things like new wheels that aren't stock size or a new hood can throw you into a class that is heavily modified. Be sure to grab a rules book.
