I'm picking up my new 2005 RX8 Shinka in a day or two and I was just wondering if it can take a Z?

 

no, nobody has ever raced a z. ever

 

LOL, if you need to know stock for stock they run the same time at the top gear road course which is 1:31 secs. in a straight line the Z will more then likely win depending on drivers but who cares. rx8's aren't fast in a straight line.

 

I race Z's all the time, I eat them for breakfast NOMSSSS... However I live my life a quarter mile at a time and 90% of the time I'm winning by an inch or a mile... But hey winning is winning.

My son has a 300ZX. I've driven it many times. I would beat him.

 

I raced Z24 cavalier once on the dirt track and schooled that fool. rotary4life son.

 

Can you afford to pick up an FE and a Z!? Baller, take them both.

 

If you have the cash, you can buy a Shinka and a Z, and in that way, you can take them both home as a winner with a Nissan handicap.

I have raced Z's at the track a lot when NA . The 8 loses about 3-4 car lengths on a long straight from a 2nd gear dig up to about 120mph . If you can get ahead of one - he will struggle to get past you as you will outbrake and out corner him. If he gets ahead of you - almost impossible to get past him unless he makes a mistake.

With boost ................. it's game over for anything but the quickest cars you can think of.
