He and his dad are two of the nicest guys out there, and he was long overdue for this.

Also congrats to Debbie on getting another one. STXL was one of the few decent sized ladies classes this year, and she had other past winners to overcome. Nice work. At least someone can figure out how to get speed out of the TRX8 car - maybe you can coach the boys next year. lol

After so many years of going it sure is hard to sit here and watch the results stream in on the computer.
Many thanks Jason.....we appreciate the kind words. Carter is a happy camper right now. The car finally ran trouble free, Carter drove well, the weather was good and no bad luck of any kind.
We second the congrats to Debbie....she flew in,flew around the courses and then flew out.....we didn't get to see her.
Great to see Mark and Mike and we expect to see a return from Jason and Jennifer in the near future. Jim T

I think Team DSQ'd himself for sound violation....he was the sound chief for Thurs/Fri and in the first heat his West course system went "wacko" and had everyone getting warnings for being 10-15 db above their previous day sound levels and "feverishly" scrambling to make adjustments to avoid being DSQ'd....FS mustangs were over the limit. Seriously after second runs they found the problem and disgarded the earlier warnings....not Team's fault but we like to blame him anyway LOL.

Huh. They don't DSQ the timing crew when the computer system goes haywire.

No problem. We've been friends long enough for me to know your true intentions.

I left the site early on Friday rather than fulfill my work duties. I knew full well the consequences and accepted the outcome in advance. That's all I care to say about the situation.

Might have had a run at the GoPro camera giveaway for the biggest class improvement from day 1 to day 2. The guy who won it in STX moved up 17 spots. Not sure if I was that far back or not on Monday. Moot point regardless.
