1 more track RX8
(Not dedicated) but still a track junkie.
I just bought a 2005 Galaxy Gray RX8. Made an intro to the forum here : https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-discussion-3/new-rx8-owner-135914/
Just wanted to thank everyone in this section for tips on tracking an RX8, alignment, wheel information, etc...
I tracked a 2001 Nissan Sentra SE, very modified suspension and brakes, light on the power mods (so I will NEVER complain about torque or power, I know its about braking and turning
)
It was time I went to a RWD go kart.
Thanks for all your help so far (Ive been lurking here for weeks)
And looking forward to trading stories and information with you guys.
Hoping to see some of you on the track (ThecdnRX8, yes I mean you ) I havent done Mt-Tremblant, but have been to shannonville, st-eustache, Sanair and St-Croix on many, many many MANY occasions.
BTW, I was curious, any of you Quebecers/Montreals part of the TLC (Trac Lapping Club) ? If not, something to look into.
Low yearly membership (about 125$ a season), access to St-Eustach track every Monday and sometimes Tuesday nights for 20$/20min sessions (as much as you want) (evenings).
Plus organised events at all the close tracks, and rebates on parts at Trac Racing located ON the track in St-Eustache.
Looking forward to having tons of fun with the 8.

Welcome. Not sure if colors were different in oter countries, but in the US the gray '04-'05 RX-8's were titanium gray, while the gray '06-'08 RX-8's were galaxy gray.
I haven't tracked my RX-8 as my main interest is autocross or Solo II. Enjoy!
