I'm thinking of taking my 8 to the track because my rx7 is in the process of a turbo upgrade. My 8 is bone stock but I wanted to put my 8" slicks on and make some passes to aviod wheel hop. I'm worried my clutch wont hold up with sticky tires and hard launches.Anyone run with slicks before?

I'd be worry about breaking the halfshafts...
