I figured I would go ahead and post this up but i'm not going to buy just yet. What i'm trying to do is get offers and see whats out there. I'm moving on the 11th of may and will be without internet for Approx 2 weeks after the move so it would be nice to go ahead and get as much do before losing communication. As soon as i get completly moved in, set up and ready to install I will purchase a kit. A used kit would be best and I really don't care if the turbo itself is shot as it will be going to BNR for a rebuild. Everything else needs to be in good shape like the lines, manifold, downpipe,innercooler piping, and all that good stuff. I do not however need a EMU as I already have an AcessPort but if the price is right for your kit i'll shell out a few extra bones for your EMU and trash it. I'm also looking for a couple extra things like a turbo timer, Greddy profec b spec II boost controller, and some other things I might need(any ideas???). I have a used synchronic BOV but i'm ither going to sell it or trade for something that I can vent to air-AP friendly ya know and I WANT NOISE! I'll also need a new intake system like AEM or again something compatiable with the AP.

WTB- upgraded couplers- why do I need these and where can they be bought. I searched but couldn't find anything as to why I needed to upgrade.

WTT- my used synapse bov for a bov that works ok with vent to air AP.

No offense but you need to do alot more research and possibly list the items you need in a more user friendly manner.

- Greddy Turbo With or without EMU
- Turbo Timer
- Profec B Spec II Boost controller

I dont think any BOV is air ap friendly because you will always be momentarily too rich and backfire.

Any boost controller is fairly basic and should work for you.

 

Umm ok research on what exactly? I know the bov's go rich and pop but from my understanding that ok. However the synchronic doesn't really work at all unIess you recirc it. Agreed on the list though as I've already had 2 pm's from people trying to buy a boost controller I don't have?

The ap works with bov you just have to recirculate the bov correct?

 

You have to recirculate with the synchronic bov no questions asked but most all the others work ok. Besides going rich and making those nasty pops out the tail pipe when you lift throttle.

You can use the anti stall fitting for the synchronic I recirc mine and can still scare people with it, I mean if thats all you want is sound. It still has some noise and as far as the research comment I think that any OP asking questions in a WTB thread needs to do research.

I am ready to buy certain things when they pop up, hell if a turbo comes thru today at the right price I would take it. The point of the thread is to let those who might be getting rid of their kits soon know I'm actively looking. If this one thread threatens you I could separate it into multiple threads. One for each individual part I'm seeking over the course of the next 2 mths but that would probably be a bigger waist of space now wouldn't it.
Also I'm not the one asking the techinal questions so try and keep my thread clear of your performance related talks if it so offends you, I however will gladly accept any advise anytime. If it's deemed the thread needs to be moved the mods will do so. So how about from now on let's try and keep this a bit more on target. Do you guys feel better now?
