yeah, but i wanna see it first, if i like the set up with GTC-200, then i would sell my mspeed..otherwise, i will resell the gtc-200....

You're better off just trying to sell your Mazdaspeed spoiler then buy the 200 with the money you get from the sale.

I have the GTC-200, and if most people feel the way I do, I'm not too interested in switching it out for a Mazdaspeed one. I can tell you it's a great spoiler and the adjustability helps a lot on the track.

 

Bump, I'm in the market for this spoiler if someone wants to sell theirs ....

 

Here is one on craigslist, $430 was specific to the celica. I was thinking about getting it, but I dont know if I should just get a rx8 specific one instead. Also the side plates on the rx8 spoiler are 10.5" instead of 10" on celica.

I want the RX-8 specific one since it's designed to use the same mounting holes as the OE appearance package wing, which I have.

 

I am looking for the same thing. Sent an email off to APR to see if they will sell me just the rx8 mounting bases and if they will work with all the standard gtc-200 2.5 risers.

 

I believe the mounting points on the wing itself vary to fit the application.

 

We have 2 treads going here, oh well.

I think they all the spoilers come with 2 mounting holes 29.5" and 42.5" The risers on my Mazdaspeed spoiler are 43". I am not going to buy anything non rx8 specific unless and until I confirm it will work, although I am going to mount mine on a track only trunk lid so its not as big of a deal.

 

APR says the mounting brackets and mounting holes to the spoiler are also vehicle specific, so I will keep looking for a rx8 specific spoiler. No rush, I have time and no trunk to mount it to anyways.
