GI: APR Spoiler GTC-200 and GTC-300

There are currently 3 WTB threads open for people looking to buy the APR GTC-200 RX8 Specific Spoiler. I think if we pull our buying power we can get a great deal on the spoiler. I have already made contact with both APR and an APR distributor and both are willing to work with me (I have a california resale license) and I have gotten an initial quote from the distributor for 3 spoilers and the prices look good.

If you are series about wanting one of these spoilers please vote, if you are dreaming, please dont vote. I would expect to get 25-30% off MSRP with shipping included.

Here is some info on the APR GTC series spoilers: http://www.aprperformance.com/index....d=33&Itemid=44

The GTC-200:

The GTC-300:

Here are some pictures from a member who installed this on his rx8.

Vivid racing installed one on there APR sponsored RX8

There was a thread started a few months back and on that one someone talked about a gtc-300. So I figured it's was worth a shot.

These are functional spoilers for a race track, not for driving around on the street. They offer a lot adjustability and will provide downforce at autoX speeds and up to high speed road courses 150MPH+.

I have the mazdaspeed spoiler right now and will keep it for the street but I am adding a track only splitter real soon and will need some additional rear end df to balance the car on 100+ MPH turns, well they were 100MPH turns. Maybe 110 when all is said and done.

So how are u gonna do it? Swap trunks every time u track or do city driving? Or will these bolt on through the holes u have for the Mspeed spoiler?

I am in the market for a second trunk (black, vr or CF) and I will swap them. I already swap tires and brakes. I will be adding a splitter that I will swap so the trunk is just another 5 minutes.

I could probably use the MS holes but the lip piece on the ms bumper uses 3m tape so once it comes off its done.

The tape just seals the edges and minimizes rattling. Just swap it out foam rubber with only 1-side adhesive or you could also make a thin rubber pad cut to fit as well.

Not a bad idea and it would save me some money and time. Worth a try that's for sure.

I should have said it before, but this is open to any apr product. More we buy the better pricing we get. So if you have an RX7 or a Miata a friend with an S2000, doesn't matter. We will bundle our buying power for a great deal.

If you have the 3 buyers, what would the final price be?

I'm not sure I am allowed to post that info until the group buy is official, but figure 30-35% off msrp or better.

Here is what I can tell you. Evasive is selling above jobber price, I plan to get these well below jobber price. If I can't beat their price I won't bother, but within a few hours and 3 emails I already got a quote that makes me very confident I can provide the rx8 community with the best price.

It looks good but idk if I can drop that much on a wing. Lol if it were more like 400-450 that would be better.

I will get the best deal possible but if you are hoping for 400-$450 you will be disappointed and I should remove you from my count of possible buyers. But I can tell you I am aiming to be within 10-15% pre shipping cost from $450.

Remember these wings dont just look good, they are functional for racing, adjustable, strong and lightweight.

For what it is this is an excellent buy, the people competing need time to dial the overall setup in so the sooner the better
