Up for sale is the following:
- Used Swift springs $200 Shipped Continental US
- Used Tokico D-Spec Adjustable Shocks with rear remote adjusters Sold.
- New Whiteline Front 27mm Sway bar polyurethane Bushing set with bushing grease $20 shipped Continental US
Front adjustment key is included with the shocks. This can be added on to your keychain or kept in the coin compartment to the left of the steering wheel inside the car.
I had to modify one of the rear adjusters with a piece of high quality silicone tube and a zip tie. This was easy to install and worked like a charm. The section is not seen after it is installed behind the trunk liner.
9,000 miles on these. They did not see the track. The shocks could use a spot of paint before install.
Swift springs are manufactured with a unique spring compound "H5S.TW", which is stronger than silicon chrome. It is so resilient that it requires 2 rounds of shot peening in order to hold its coil shape and it is so strong that it needs thinner wire compared to other manufactures. It also needs fewer coils, which lowers weight while increasing available stroke. Springs are preset to reduce the sag experienced after installation and are given a 2-stage melamine coating providing an attractive layer of protection.
Tokico D-SPEC RX-8 Shocks - DSP-14 (Sold as a complete set of 4 - springs not included) - The multi-adjustment D-SPEC shocks from Tokico offers the RX-8 owner the ultimate in suspension tuning. The internal design of the shock assembly features a sophisticated piston and valving design, combined with a unique variable-aperture bypass controlled by an adjustable slide valve.
Adjustments to the RX-8 D-SPEC shocks change both the rebound and compression damping simultaneously, with an infinite adjustment range between the soft and hard settings.
Each shock is adjustable by simply rotating the tuning sprocket on the top of the shock rod. Although the front shocks on the RX-8 can be easily reached from the engine compartment, the top of the rear shock rods are virtually impossible to reach once installed on the car. To address this issue, Tokico offers a pair of extension adjustment cables that can be attached to the top of the shocks and allows easy access adjustments from inside the trunk. For more information on these extension cables, visit this link.
Installation Note: We offer complete instructions on how to remove and replace the shocks and springs on the RX-8, see the PDF links below for complete details. During the installation of these shocks it is critically important to follow the torque specs provided in the Tokico Installation Guide Sheet.

How do the D-spec compare to the KONI Yellow adjustables?
Only thing I can tell is amount of adjustability.
Also, you are saying both front and rear adjustment keys are included?

Denim,
They are both great shocks. The thing I liked about the Tokicos is the adjustors. From what I have read the Tokicos can be adjusted softer than the Koni yellows. The Tokicos can be set quite firm as well.
Front key and rear adjusters are included. The silicone hose mod I did to the one side which the braided steel let loose on worked so well I was going to do the mod on the other side. I had already installed that side and it was out of sight so I didn't make the change. I will include a piece of the same hose and a zip in case the other side fails. This had been the only issue I have read about the Tokicos. New the adjusters can be attained as a set for $40-50 from Good-Win-Racing or Mazdatrix. Koni has a different top adjustment key and are not compatible. I have installed Konis on three RX8, we set them at half stiff and left them. To adjust Konis requires pulling them out to make the adjustment.

I didn't run the Swift springs with stock shocks so I can't give you a scientific comparison in height due to the shocks. There is some good discussion about it here which should give some insight: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-whe...p-koni-174173/
What I gathered from the discussion is the shock might make a slight difference in drop compared to the stock higher pressure shock it will be very minimal .25" if any.
My goodness it isn't cheap to ship Internationally I'll send you PM

I am waiting for confirmation from Rotary-RX8 if the cost with shipping is acceptable to Canada. The reasons I post price with shipping is to minimize this step because it slows down the transaction process. If I do not have a response by noon CST. The next person in line will get to purchase.

Tokicos shipped.
Swift springs are still available as well as Whiteline 27mm front sway bushings.
The sway bushings will fit the stock bar and will firm up the response a touch. They can be easily installed on each side without disconnecting the sway bar ends.
Two 10mm or 12mm nuts hold the bushing bracket down.
