SpeedSource front upper contol arm bushing kit

Category: Steering & Suspension
Price: $235
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Series I, Series II

Brand new set of SpeedSource delrin/stainless solid bushings for the RX8 front upper control arms. Greatly reduces camber and steering deflection and also greatly reduces suspension movement friction forces. A must have for serious track enthusiasts and racers as per posts by Eric Meyer. $235 shipped in the US48, includes all four bushings to complete both sides and the SpeedSource installation paperwork.

I also have a set of new, unused SpeedSource solid aluminum rear subframe bushings for the serious racer. I purchased and used them for dimensions only to custom fabricate a set of polymer UHMW subframe bushings per our class rules. Requires removing the rear subframe and OE bushings to install them which is a pretty hardcore job.

How much do you want for the rear subframe bushings?

I had them on my 300zx and it changed my world!

Oh thats much more than I was planning on... It's a fair price for sure I just don't have that kind of money at the moment.

Let me finish collecting my turbo parts all I need now is a boost controller and waste gate actuator. I should be able to get these off you in December if you still have them.

Which is harder removing the old bushing or installing the new one . Especially with a seized bolt .

Great price for a great product! Good luck with your sale.

Haha was actually trying to give Team some crap since he lives close to me for the time being. I have yet had a chance to pick his brain on the rx8 in person lol.

The new bushings slide right in with some persuasion from a rubber mallet. It takes a press or air hammer setup to get the OE bushing sleeves out. The subframe bushings are a major air hammer effort.

I did mine with an air chisel...took about 5 min a side. Then I cleaned up the arms and pressed the bushings in ( backwards the first time )

Less fun... You have no idea, I got the lower control arm sleeves out with a hammer and metal chisel. that took a total of 15 hours.
