My "deal" is I am trying to help you come to terms with the reality of what you are asking, in the hopes that in the long run you will realize its not worth it.

Also not sure where you are getting 50 bucks, OE exhaust is well over 600 bucks at a dealer. We sell our old ones cheap because the fact of the matter is. No one wants them.

Also realize their is no way it would even fit in you 8 for transport, didn't realize it was your DD.

So good luck with shipping, IMO when all is said and done you could have a good quality aftermarket one for the same price.
you beat me to the shipping cost part but a factory cat back can be put in an 8. when sonic took mine he removed the pass through and wrapped it in moving blankets. you have to tie the trunk closed but it works. another member (socompro is a pos) did the same when i put his car back to stock

Regardless I never would, your just asking for a mishap and some nice fresh scratches and gashes in your interior.

Hell I don't even let people drink in my car

Listen, mentioning a reasonable shipping option was my polite way of saying I wasn't driving to pick it up. It's not my "reality", I fully expected him to decline and move on. No harm, no foul. I work at a place with a dock and a forklift, so if he wanted to throw it on 2 pallets and ship it, I could easily unload it and sit it there without scheduling a drop off.

If no one wants them, there's no market for them. If there's no market for them, the price is substantially depreciated. I threw $50 dollars out there because people give these away, and that would cover more than you'd get in scrap. He said $100, so let's settle on $75 then. The dealer also wants 500 for a set of coils.

So what? Yes my 8 is my DD, and it wouldn't fit. But it also wouldn't fit in a Prius or a Civic, so unless I installed it when I got there, I'd need some sort of truck which likely could cost more in gas.

If you read the original post, I state that I'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust (read: something else in the OP), but I'm open to OEM if it works out.

Thanks, I might do that, but I may just bite the bullet and buy a new exhaust. Though I was really hoping not to have to do that, doesn't look like anyone has much to offer right now. Maybe you can help me put it on.

If you guys have any leads on anything, I'm all ears. I've scoured the forums and searched the past few weeks and I haven't seen much of anything. Your help and advice isn't unappreciated.

Well I'd probably at least offer for your troubles Swapping an exhaust in the driveway with a jack is probably something I don't really want to do, you'd save me some headaches. We'll see though. Props.
