S2 Fuel Sending Unit Connector

WTB: Series 2 fuel level sensor /sending unit plug. Doing a S2 fuel pump swap and need the connector. I think driver or passenger side would work. Thanks!

You need the float level sender from either side of the S2 fuel tank, or buy one new. IMO you can get away with using the S2 float assembly rather than swapping the connector onto the S1 float wiring. In that case you should get one from that same side of the tank. They’re slightly different between the two saddle tank positions. Otherwise you can just use the connector off the other side. It’s easily depinned and swapped out.

Thanks Team, that's exactly what I'm looking to do. I'll depin and switch the connector. I understand the small fuel volume differences between S1 and S2, and might as well just keep my S1 sender in place.

Know anyone that has a used one? It seems silly to buy a new one for $100 just for the plastic connector...

that’s why I suggested just swapping it out and having a fresh float. They have been known to fail. IMO after reviewing the operational data and looking at them the difference isn’t going to matter. However, in full disclosure I didn’t do that. I’m not sure if a lower cost aftermarket one is available. Otherwise you need to find a part out or recycle yard and get a used one from the tank.

Hmm I hadn't heard about failures, I'll look into it, thanks.
