is the s2 pump dimensionally different than the s1? I thought S1 owners would swap their pumps out for the S2 pump for added reliability.

I think paimons point is if people are swapping an s2 fuel pump into an s1 then you can look for any aftermarket pump that will fit an s1. At least if he is right about them being the same size.

The assembly is the same size but i dont know about the pump motor, i would like to fit something like a stealth 340 but dont know if they do fit and what model to get since theres 3 of them. The s2 assembly works better than the crappy s1 so i would prefer to use the s2 assembly. I might remove the fuel pressure regulator in the s2 assembly and run a return line and plug it onto the siphon hose

Dont want to switch back to the s1 pump assembly. I searched for a while and never saw anyone open the s2 assembly to replace the motor. I would be very happy if i could keep the s2 pump assembly and put a hi flow pump motor inside of it. Otherwise ill go all out and fab a custom assembly with something like a supra pump

If you are serious about an REW swap then look at those related threads and their fuel setups. Proper prior planning.

Good, because if you are going to get serious on an REW setup you are going to need a proper fuel system. Search for some of the stuff Dannobre has posted on the subject.
