I have received shipping confirmation (Track UPS package #1Z62E66R4297025320) that my long awaited MM Turbo upgrade has shipped. I haven't seen it yet, so I dont have any pictures. (if you want to educate yourself, go here.) I will post pics when I get the package.

You might ask, "What is wrong with it? Why are you selling it BRAND NEW IN BOX without even considering installing it on your own gorgeous car?" Good question, but be assured, there is nothing wrong with this upgrade kit. I had a custom turbo kit fitted and installed and no longer have my GReddy kit to upgrade. I am selling this kit, thusly.

You might ask why the price hike? Simple answer; quick turnaround. I will ship the box the day I receive transferable payment from you. It might be cheaper direct, but it also might take 2.5 years for you to get it. That is not a dig on Jeff. It is an honest opinion based on painful experience.

This is an upgrade to the GReddy kit, not a separate standalone kit. So you are still good to go.

 

Considering I have the greedy kit this was intended for..... If it isn't sold before this time next week its mine.....

Probably worth mentioning that this particular upgrade kit has a bigger turbo than the one I normally ship.
Same form-factor (so it fits the same), but more compressor flow and a lightly ported wastegate opening.

In fact, that brings up a point I want to mention after thinking about by situation over the day. Currently, I have a Subie baja to sell. I am highly inclined to use the proceeds plus cash to buy a clean, black '05 low mileage RX8 along with a GReddy kit. This would allow me the freedom to put a cage and harnesses in my current RX8 and delete the rear seats. My wife wont get in my car now anyway with the Bride seats and greatly frowns on totting around the little one. This way I could have my pure track car and a fast, low profile RX8 to drive on the street.

It is just a thought I have been playing around with today knowing this kit is coming. I put the ad up very quickly, somewhat as a knee-jerk reaction. The situation has been vexatious and irksome and I just want it over. Maybe that was too quick of a reaction. If this FS disappears, I dont want folks to think I am jerking their chain.

 

After the patient wait it would be nice to see you enjoy using it.

 

Well, there is an actual box in my living room. Hopefully I'll have some time to open it up tonight!
